Level 2 Hairdressing Apprenticeship
One day per week whilst working in a salon
This qualification will provide you with the requisite knowledge, understanding and skills to work competently as a hairdresser. Throughout this qualification you will be able to perform to a commercial standard the following:
- Shampoo & Condition Hair and Treat the Hair and Scalp
- Health and Safety
- Advise and Consult with Clients
- Colour and Lighten Hair
- Cut Hair using Basic Techniques
- Perming
- Style and Finish Hair - Including: Setting, Dressing, Plaiting and Twisting
You will be supervised by technical staff and assessed on your occupational competence.

Hairdressing Level 3 Diploma – Apprenticeship
Whilst working in a salon this qualification will provide you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work competently as an advanced hairdresser.
Throughout this qualification you will monitor procedures to safely control work operations, provide hairdressing consultation services, creatively cut hair using a combination of techniques and promote additional services or products to clients, as well as the following:
- Client Consultation
- Advanced and Creative Cutting
- Fashion Styling and Finishing
- Smoothing and Strengthening
- Advanced and Creative Colour
- Fashion Forward Hair Trends

Hairdressing Refresher Course
The course is designed for you if you are a Qualified Hairdresser but have taken a career break and now wish to return to work.
This course will bring you up to date and give you confidence to carry out the latest techniques and styles you will need to work in a modern salon.
It will also focus on Styling, Colouring and Cutting as well as updating you on the Salon Basics of Client Consultations and Health and Safety. It will be designed to meet your needs.
This is not a qualification course.
